1. Should education funding be available directly to families through a grant, scholarship, or education savings account so that parents can send their children to the school of their choice, including religious schools?	Y*	I am a supporter of school choice. Every child deserves to be in an environment where he/she learns best. Not every child learns the same way, and we should allow parents to make those decisions for their child and family. Competition makes everyone better. We have seen huge success from the states that have implemented choice for students.
2. Should marijuana be legalized and sold commercially for recreational use?	N
3. Should the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act be amended to include "sexual orientation" and "gender identity," which would require public schools and other public facilities to open up restrooms and locker rooms to members of the opposite sex?	N*	Absolutely not. This becomes a matter of safety for our children, both female and males.
4. Should Pennsylvania enter into the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, which would include a new carbon tax on electricity producers?	N
5. Should increases in state government spending be limited to the rate of inflation plus population growth?	Y*	Taxpayer Protection Act would require the government to keep spending down under the amount of money that it in-takes. We cannot spend more money than we have.
6. Should state taxpayer funding be allowed for elective abortions?	N*	No, people should not be required to [ay for someone else's abortion. Abortion is not healthcare and should not be treated as such.
7. Should all voters be required to show identification before voting?	Y*	There is no reason why voters should not be required to show ID when voting. We must show ID to buy alcohol, to travel, and many other everyday activities. Secure elections are the difference between America and other countries in the world. Without faith in our elections, people will lose hope in the system and America will fall. Identification is an easy way to ensure that faith in elections.
8. Should striking union members have access to unemployment compensation?	N*	Most striking union members are compensated by their union while on strike. They should not also be profiting from taxpayers. Striking workers are choosing to not work, therefore they are temporarily suspending their pay--that is their choice.
9. Should public schools be prohibited from allowing males who identify as females to compete in girls’ sports?	Y*	Females in the past have fought hard to ensure equal rights for women. We are simply giving that away when we allow stronger biological males to take away those right. One cannot deny the biological differences between males and females. We need to be protecting our girls to be able to compete fairly.
10. Should schools have to post curriculum online for review by parents and taxpayers?	Y*	Parents have a right to know what is being taught in their child's classroom. Many times they find out about a lesson after it is taught. Requiring the curriculum to be posted for parents to review would allow them to see what lessons are coming up and to be able to opt their child out of it if they so choose.
11. Should funding for public and state-related universities follow the student rather than go directly to the institution?	Y*	I believe that PA should reevaluate how they fund universities. According to the PA Constitution the state is required to provide free education for K-12 students, not higher ED. If tax money is being given to higher education, then families should be able to take that funding to a school of their choosing. Let the money follow the student. We need to stop funding systems and start focusing on the student.
